David Ellis is a board certified attorney in Florida practicing trademarks, copyrights, patents, trade secrets, and intellectual property law; computer, technology, cyberspace and Internet law; business, entertainment and arts law; and franchise, licensing and contract law. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a member of the Florida Bar, Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law, and a Registered Patent Attorney.

David is the author of the book, A Computer Law Primer, and numerous articles in legal, business and technological publications, including the Florida Bar Journal, and "The Data Bus," Florida's computer and technology journal, for which he wrote a monthly column on Computer Law for many years. He taught Intellectual Property, Copyrights, and Computer Law for several years as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida College of Law and Stetson University College of Law.
